Matt Soroka
People Operations Coordinator
Matt brings more than 14 years of experience in higher education, career development, and workforce-focused programs. He has worked with students, employers, and campus partners to help create stronger pathways from education to meaningful careers.
His background includes recruiting and employer outreach, onboarding and process improvement, workforce reporting, and data management. Matt enjoys creating practical, people-first systems that help staff, tutors, volunteers, and program partners stay organized and do their best work. He is also interested in using technology and AI tools to simplify routine tasks, improve data quality, and make the employee and volunteer experience smoother for everyone involved.
Matt earned a BS in Management from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and an MBA from Deakin University in Australia. He also holds graduate certificates in Institutional Research and Business Analytics from Penn State and is currently completing a Graduate Certificate in People Analytics and Artificial Intelligence there. He is excited to bring a collaborative, thoughtful, and detail-oriented approach to supporting EPATT’s team and helping students build confidence in school, on the court, and as they prepare for college and careers.
