Alex Aldama

Community Program Coordinator

Alex Aldama exemplifies what it means to be a Rogue Scholar. A proud EPATT alum, Alex first joined the program in 2014 and has since become a powerful testament to what’s possible when young people are given the tools and support to thrive. In 2024, he graduated from the University of California, San Diego with a degree in Anthropology. Now, as EPATT’s first-ever Community Program Coordinator, Alex leads our Project Rally program, which provides one-on-one math literacy tutoring to students in grades K-4 at Costano Elementary School. Additionally, he coordinates the day-to-day operations of EPATT’s in-school PE and enrichment programming at Costano.

With deep roots in the community and a passion for educational equity, Alex brings empathy, experience, and purpose to everything he does.
