Mark’s distinguished career began at Intel in his native Barbados, eventually becoming Controller, Worldwide Accounting and External Reporting. Mark earned his MA in Education at Stanford University in 2001 after leaving Intel in 1999. He then taught AP Calculus BC for 13 of the 17 years he served on the staff of Cupertino High School. He has won multiple teaching awards and serving as the school’s Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) Adviser. He led his chapter to second place in the 2016, 2017 and 2018 California state championships and was named California’s Outstanding Adviser in 2017. Mark holds an MBA from the University of Western Ontario and BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of the West Indies.</image:caption>

He was a four-year varsity letter winner on Coach Gould's Stanford teams from 1988-91, with three of those teams winning NCAA championships. After graduating Stanford, Dan earned his J.D. from Georgetown University. He was a corporate litigation attorney for 21 years with Wilson, Sonsini, Goodrich &amp; Rosati. Dan and his wife started a specialty cut-flower farm while also finding time to raise their three young children. Dan joined the EPATT board in 2007.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Operations Manager Adrian started at EPATT when he was a sixth-grader at Flood Elementary School in East Palo Alto. Adrian immediately took to the EPATT program and began to raise his academic level. Recognizing his leadership and academic prowess, EPATT recommended him to private Pinewood School for his high school education. Adrian’s affable and endearing personality helped him navigate a new social/ economic environment while EPATT helped support his academics. He thrived as a student at Pinewood. Post high school he attended St. Mary’s College in Moraga, California, earning a BA in International Area Studies and Spanish. After graduation, Adrian worked at American International in Spain helping Spanish student athletes get information about US colleges’ and universities’ athletic programs. Before joining EPATT in July 2014 Adrian worked at Stanford, still managing to tutor a first-grader at EPATT. Adrian is happy to be back at EPATT, helping other students just as he was helped years ago.</image:caption>

As head coach of Stanford Men’s Tennis for 38 years, he led the team to 17 NCAA Team Championships. Thirteen of his former players hold 72 Grand Slam championships (singles, doubles, mixed). He became Stanford’s longest serving athletic department employee while serving 14 additional years as Director of Tennis at Stanford (until 2018). Since that time he has served as a full-time volunteer for the non-profit, TeachAids, to develop compelling Concussion Education for youth, parents and coaches. He has proudly served on the EPATT Board of Directors since its inception.</image:caption>

Most recently, Beth worked at Dreamcatchers as Director of Community Engagement, where she was highly engaged in all aspects of running a nonprofit. Susan was a member of the Stanford Women’s Tennis Team and currently serves on the Board of the Stanford Athletics Buck/Cardinal Club which benefits student athletes. She credits tennis with building the best friendships in her life and a highlight was traveling with her USTA team to win the Women’s 4.5 Team National Championship in 2011.</image:caption>

She and her husband Geoff are also active with the Humane Society of Silicon Valley. Verity graduated from Stanford in 1965 with a BA in Sociology, and received her MBA from University of Santa Clara in 1981. Verity and her husband reside in Atherton with their three rescue dogs, and enjoy hiking, fly fishing, traveling, reading and spending time with six grandsons.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Dena has three decades of experience in coaching and education. A track and field All-American and varsity soccer player, she became a middle school teacher after graduating from Stanford. A collegiate coaching career followed from 1999 to 2005, including leading the Stanford Women’s Cross-Country team to an NCAA Championship and becoming the 2003 NCAA Coach of the Year. Since then, she has been a member of eleven Team USATF international meet coaching staffs, worked with the Bay Area Women’s Sports Initiative (BAWSI) in East Palo Alto and Redwood City, and directed the Bay Area Running Camp. Dena is Club Director and Coach for the Peninsula Distance Club (2007 to present) and represents the Long Distance Running division on the USA Track &amp; Field Board of Directors. She has also served on the Playworks Silicon Valley Regional Board and the Pacific Association of USATF Board of Athletics and Foundation Board.</image:caption>

He is a retired partner of the global law firm Sidley Austin, where he led Sidley's Technology and Life Sciences Transactions practice. Glenn is an avid tennis player and runner and competed as a cross-country runner and volleyball player in high school. He is an active participant in Silicon Valley's tennis community and assisted with bringing the Golden Gate Open Pro Tennis Tournament to Stanford University in 2023.  Glenn has been an active contributor to EPATT for many years – his keen interest in EPATT being motivated by its mission to help children and families of underserved communities achieve positive life opportunities through two avenues that he is passionate about: education and tennis.</image:caption>

Kesha co-teaches a Stanford course on effective math tutoring, contributes to the Thrive Alliance Committee on Children and Education, and is a frequent panelist on education and equity. Most recently, he served as Senior Director of Programs at several Boys &amp; Girls Clubs in San Mateo County, where he led efforts to deliver strong academic, physical, and social outcomes across multiple sites. A first-generation Latino raised by a widowed mother, Rolando is deeply committed to helping all children pursue their dreams with confidence and purpose. He earned a BA in English and History from the University of Buffalo, a master’s in educational leadership from Northeastern University, and is currently pursuing a doctorate in educational leadership at the American College of Education, with a focus on community-based organizations. Inspired by his late father’s advice to “do something you love,” Rolando is a passionate, humble leader who builds high-performing, mission-driven teams and champions equity and opportunity in underserved communities.</image:caption>
