Tennis

EPATT, originally East Palo Alto Tennis and Tutoring, was founded as a summer tennis program in 1988 to serve kids in the East Palo Alto Community.  Today we’ve broadened our community to include other neighborhoods but tennis remains a very important component of EPATT's programming. Through tennis, EPATT instills discipline, sportsmanship, self-reliance, competitiveness and fitness.

We have three goals for the tennis tier of EPATT:

  1. To teach the game of tennis, giving the gift of tennis to ALL children enrolled at EPATT.
     
  2. To support and develop children who are interested in becoming tournament level players and provide opportunities for tournament play.
     
  3. To create an environment on the tennis courts that reinforces EPATT's academic goals and mission.

 

Tennis Practice Schedule:

Monday – Wednesday: Taube South Courts
5:00 pm – 6:00 pm : 6th – 12th grade practice 
  

Monday – Thursday: Taube Family Tennis Stadium
6:00 pm- 7:00 pm K- 12th grade practice
  

Tournament Team Practice: Taube Family Tennis Stadium
Wednesday: 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm
Friday: 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm
